This role is accountable to plan, direct, coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organizations IT assets. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network and server hardware / software and communication technology. This role is responsible for telecommunications, data center, security, and other IT infrastructure implemented across the entire corporation and large construction job sites. Critical to success is having very strong communication skills, ability to provide leadership, structure, customer service, and promote change across the organization; as well as, strong analytical skills.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

+ Manage the Network and Infrastructure team. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; provide performance and development feedback.

+ Develop, propose, and implement approved investment of infrastructure technology solutions to meet objectives and maintain high standard user interface experience.

+ Track and manage IT infrastructure spend and savings.

+ Collaborate with divisional and departmental leaders to coordinate efforts to meet business requests and objectives.

+ Monitor IT operations to ensure IT compliance with policies and procedures are met.

+ Provide qualified responses to divisional construction job agreement data security clauses.

+ Manage all related vendor negotiations to final proposal.

+ Stay up to date with industry trends and current technology.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree; and 5-10 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination. Experience with leading a technical team as well as managing a multi-location environment is required. Qualified candidates would have participated in a major business transformation team and project and would have experience designing/managing large network and infrastructure projects.
